The following page is dedicated to my teaching activities at the German School in Washington, D.C. (well, Potomac, MD to be exact). I am very proud of my students and my role in thier musical development.

In honor of the 15th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Choir of the GSW Elementary School was invited to participate in an event staged before pieces of the wall displayed at the Freedom Forum in Arlinton, VA. The audience consisted of key personalities of the current German-American partnership. Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" was sung with enthusiasm and perfection, thanks to the kids' love of music and exacting rehearsals. Consequently, the school was well-presented, earning the applause of the enthralled audience as well as the praise of their proud music director!

Zum Anlass des 15. Jahrestages des Falles der Berliner Mauer wurde der Chor der Grundschule und ausgewählte Gäste der 4. Klasse beim Freedom Forum in Arlington zum Singen eingeladen. Vor Teile der Berliner Mauer befanden sich im Publikum Schlüsselpersöhnlichkeiten der aktuellen Deutsch-Amerikanischen Partnerschaft, Journalisten und Fersehmanschaften.
Zum Thema "Deutsche Einheit" wurde mit genauer Vorbereitung und viel Liebe zur Musik das Europa-Hymne "Freude schöner Götterfunken" dargeboten. Chormitglieder haben mit Elan und Freude die Grundschule der Deutschen Schule Washington, D.C. bei dem Auftritt präsentiert und vertreten, und haben einen herzlichen Applaus (und einen großen Lob des stolzen Chorleiters) geerntet. Bravo
